Mic is mandatory for information communication equipment, ite products, computer peripheral office equipment and various radio frequency products according to the electric communication law and radio wave law of South Korea.
The mic logo is issued by the radio research laboratory (RRL) of Korea. The certification of information and telecommunication products is implemented on the basis of chapter 33 of the basic telecommunication law and 464 and 47 of the radio wave law of the Republic of Korea.
All products (or equipment) listed in Chapter 3 of the 'rules for the implementation of information and telecommunication equipment certification' must pass the certification and affix the certification mark before they can be produced, imported or sold in South Korea.
Mic certification process:
1. It is up to G & M to decide whether your product needs mic logo.
2. Provide a complete product description, list all ingredients obtained, including all charts, identify all materials, including all instructions, plus other information specified by mic mark certification.
3. Provide test samples.
4. G & M company reviews the product introduction and test samples, and the qualified ones are allowed to use mic mark.
