1. Introduction to energy efficiency label certification
The energy efficiency logo is a blue and white background, marked with the words 'CHINAENERGYLABEL' on the top, and has adhesive on the back, which is required to be pasted on the front panel of the product. The structure of the logo can be divided into a background information column, an energy efficiency level display column, and a product-related indicator display column. As an information label, the energy efficiency label intuitively indicates the energy efficiency level, energy consumption index and other important performance indicators of energy-using products, and the energy efficiency level is the most important indicator to judge whether the product is energy-saving. At present, China's energy efficiency label divides energy efficiency into five levels: 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, and grade 1 means that the product has reached the international advanced level, which is the most power-saving, that is, the lowest energy consumption; Level 2 means relatively energy-saving; Grade 3 means that the energy efficiency of the product is the average level of the Chinese market; Grade 4 indicates that the energy efficiency of the product is lower than the market average; Level 5 is a market access indicator, and products below this level are not allowed to be produced and sold. In order to popularize the awareness of energy conservation and efficiency among all kinds of consumer groups, the energy efficiency level display column uses three forms of expression to intuitively express the energy efficiency level information: first, the text part is 'low, medium, high energy consumption'; the second is the number part '1, 2, 3, 4, 5'; The third is the color indicator according to the level arranged by the emotion represented by the color, of which red represents prohibition, orange represents warning, and green represents environmental protection and energy saving.
Therefore, energy efficiency labels can enable consumers to compare the energy-saving effects of different products, so that consumers can buy more energy-efficient and cost-effective products.
2. Scope of product certification
Monitors, LCD TVs, plasma TVs, rice cookers, induction cookers, household washing machines, refrigerators, storage water heaters, energy-saving lamps, high-pressure sodium lamps, printers, copiers, electric fans.
3. Certification process
Step 1: Product testing
Energy efficiency testing should be carried out in a qualified laboratory.
After passing the test according to the corresponding national energy efficiency standards, an energy efficiency test report will be issued. The test report is an important basis for the energy consumption indicators marked by the energy efficiency label of the product. The original report should be submitted to the Energy Efficiency Labeling Management Center for review and filing.
Step 2: Make energy efficiency standard fabrics
In order to maintain the seriousness of the labeling system, facilitate market supervision, and effectively improve consumers' recognition and cognitive ability of the logo, there are strict unified requirements for the style of China's energy efficiency label. The basic styles of energy efficiency labels for various products are consistent in shape, color, pattern and overall layout, but the size and energy consumption indicators are different. Therefore, enterprises should make energy efficiency labels in accordance with the requirements of the corresponding product implementation rules.
Please click to download an editable sample of the energy efficiency label in CorelDRAW format. Open it with CorelDRAW11.0 or above (with square font library) and mark the manufacturer name, specification and model, energy efficiency level and energy efficiency index. Energy efficiency levels and energy efficiency indicators should be determined according to the test report. The energy efficiency index should not exceed the value range of the corresponding energy efficiency level, and the energy efficiency index of the measured sample should meet the marked value in the energy efficiency label.
The energy efficiency label should be printed on coated paper of 80 grams or more, and pasted on the product or minimum packaging with self-adhesive. A sample logo should be provided for review when filing.
Step 3: Fill in the filing information online
First, register as an enterprise user on the China Energy Efficiency Labeling Network (www.energylabel.gov.cn). Basic information of the enterprise must be provided, and registration will be completed after being reviewed by the administrator (about 3 days).
After successful registration, log in and add relevant information about product filing, mainly the information marked on the energy efficiency label.

Step 4: Submit the required text materials for filing
Submit the following text materials to the China Energy Efficiency Labeling Management Center:
A copy of the producer's business license or registration certificate;
Energy efficiency label filing enterprise information form;
Energy Efficiency Label Samples; (See step 2)
Energy Efficiency Label Filing Form;
Energy efficiency test report; (See Step 1)
When it comes to brand licensing or OEM production, you need to provide:
Brand use authorization letter;
Energy efficiency label filing OEM statement;
If the producer is an overseas registered enterprise, the importer is also one of the responsible parties, so it is also necessary to provide:
A copy of the importer's business license or registration certificate;
Importer Enterprise Information Form;
A copy of the relevant contract signed between the importer and the overseas producer;
After receiving the written filing materials, the energy efficiency label management center will generally give feedback within 10 working days. After the filing is completed, it will be publicized on the China Energy Efficiency Labeling Network, and the relevant information can be queried by the filing number, producer name or model.
